If your anything like me, you have had you fair share of disapointments in life, you have had those time where you simply could not seem to get things together. No matter what it was that you were trying to accomplish everything just continued to fall apart. I had HUGE plans for the way that I was going to live my life. Honestly, 99% of the plans that I had created for myself don’t play any part in why you are reading this story right now.

At 21 years old I had a beautiful two year old daughter, bought my own house, was driving a brand new Dodge Ram truck and was a happy newlywed. Life seemed to be great, but little did I know what was boiling for the future

Fast Forward A Couple Years…

Less than two years ago I was at one of the worst breaking points in my life, I was broke, in the middle of a painful legal battle, filing bankruptcy, losing my house to foreclosure and my second child on the way. If not for the mental and financial help from my family I would have surely lost my mind.

A year or so moves on I put all that negativety behind me and get back on my feet again. Remember what I said about nothing wanting to stay together and everything just seems to fall apart? Keep Reading.

In Comes Network Marketing…

I fell into this industry by complete accident honestly. I actually got started and did not even know it. How is that you ask? Well, my wife had been sucked into all the hype from a pretty crafty closer that she had went to school with a few years back. She said ok, and signed on the dotted line before you even knew what she was doing.

So now I was involved with a company and had NO CLUE as to what I was doing, or even what I was supposed to be doing. I don’t know about you but I was a 23 year old kid who knew nothing about running a real business, had no real business contacts beside the people at my J.O.B (just over broke). And most of them knew less about a business than me.

This was supposed to be the easiest thing in the world. Find 3 people who knew 3 people and I would never have to work again.

I quicky realized that was simply not going to work. I was pitching my business to every person that I came in contact with. It got so bad that we even were trying to prospect by handing out business cards and offering samples at our daughters birthday party. I was so desperate to make in this company that I bought cases of my product and tried to retail it to the people that I worked with. AND NOONE WANTED IT.

I did make a couple of sales, but I realize now that was just some pity cash. Some real friends at work were really just trying to help me out by spending their hard earned money on something they did not have any desire to use. it is probably still sitting in the closet that they put it in when they bought it.

I was failing miserably in my company and just could not seem to get anything going.

Until…

I finally landed on a capture page from a well known industry leader who about the same age as myself and had “Cracked the Code” to building a business on the internet. I went on to purchase every product that he was offering, I spent ever single penny I could get my hands on, because I knew that it would only be a small price to pay for the success we were about to have.

I read through every page of every product, listened to every audio, watched ever single and soaked it up like a “sham wow”, I was quickly learning exactly what it was going to take for me to make it in this busines. I had found the pieces of the puzzle and a cheat sheet to put them all together. It was like a lightbulb went off in my head, I went straight to work.

Things were finally starting to come together…or so I thought.

It is crazy how the some things can change you. Even though I was not having the massive success that I wanted in this industry I was slowing changing into a new person. I started seeing myself in a different light. I was become more confident in my words, walking with a little more “pep in my step”. I knew that I was right there on the verge of making all the things that I had ever wanted in my life come true.

Then one day out of the middle of nowhere I heard the words. I want a divorce. I was shocked. As I was growing into this new person, who had a crystal clear vision of who I was, where I wanted to be and how I was going to get there. My wife had decide that our dreams were not in alignment and our paths in life were getting farther and farther away from each other. I was on a path of change, and for the better. And she was still walking down the road of corporate slavery and was content with having more month left at the end of the paycheck.

You know, it is those moments in time that you find the most powerful strengths out of you weakest weaknesses. I walked away with nothing buy my clothes, my laptop and a VERY few other things. All in all it was truly one of the most powerful moments in my life. I had never been by myself, I had went straight from mom and dads and we created a life together.

It was my time to step out and be one with myself, allow myself to focus my attention on what I wanted in my life. It was time for me to make decision about how the rest of my life would play out. It forced me to take myself to the next level. It gave me an opportunity to see exactly who I was and own up to my own responsibility. I made me take the blinders off and realize that I had the power to do anything I really wanted in life.

Guys, this story is so far from being complete that I am going to end it here. I am not going to tell you about how I generated xxx amounts of leads, sponsored xxx amounts of distributors or how many checks I get every single month.

Why?


Because It does not matter. This is about you. This is about you break through through all the garbage in your life and helping you create your own story.
