Internet Marketing Affiliate programs are one of the quickest ways to start generating an income on the internet.

If you are not familiar with affiliate marketing it is simply promoting someone else’s product for a commission. Seriously, affiliate marketing is the simply the easiest way to generate an income on the internet.

The affiliate marketing industry has been booming strong for many years, and really it has been around since before it was actually called affiliate marketing. People and companies would do joint ventures and promote their products simultaneously to get a bigger piece of the market.

The benefits of affiliate marketing is that you don’t have to create your own products, set up your own sales funnels, get a merchant account, create websites or any of the so called hard stuff to make money. You are typically handed a link to the product and your job is to simply promote that link to as many targeted people as possible.

Sounds pretty easy right. But in reality there are millions of people who come on the internet who want to start making money who get started being an affiliate for some product, don’t make any sales in a couple of days or weeks and just quit. Which is great for the creator, because all those links are still out on the internet and can potentially make a future sale, and there will be no one to give a commission to.

The affiliate marketing game has taken a vast change over the past few years and even more over the past few months. In the old days (which was just months ago) all you had to do was create a Google Adwords campaign, stick in some keywords and you were up and running. People were literally making five, six and seven figures a year following this simple strategy.

Then the game changed. It moved on to where marketers where using capture pages and generating leads on the front end through an enticing free offer, and then once you were on their list, they could market products to that list for the rest of time. I was amazing. People where generating tons of leads and promoting new products to an already proven list of buyers and where making an endless amount of profit streams.

Then the game changed yet again. Google started saying they did not want people to use capture pages on their advertising platform. Was it really true? Was the biggest marketing giant in the whole world turning down advertisers and saying no to their money.

Yes. And even more than that, they were handing them a ban that would shut them down for the rest of their life.

Or would it?

This is what separates the men and the boys in this industry, when one obstacle is in the way a real entrepreneur will take it with a grain of salt and move onto a solution. Affiliate marketers where in a frenzy trying to understand what it would take to make things happen again.

After digging into the requirements of the monster we call Google.Com, what we discovered was as actually quite simple. Google is a search engine that is constantly on the lookout for content, they feed on the content that their searchers are looking for. So what did we give them?

Content!

We started to redesign our marketing pieces and made them more relevant, we really gave them the juice. Instead of just a plain old capture that had nothing linking in or out, we linked our capture pages to more relevant content. So when Google landed on our sites, they did not just see a plain page by itself, but an endless web of content that on the front end required your name and email to enter it. It was really that simple.

By giving Google the exact thing that they were looking for, they in turn gave us back the exact same thing that we were looking for. The most targeted highly trafficked marketing strategy that the internet has ever seen.

Now as affiliate marketers, we have once again “cracked the code” to having our information hand delivered to the people who want it.

Make no mistake though. This strategy will only last so long. I am already seeing the works of people who are already creating a backup plan for the next slap in the face. Are You One Of Them
